Using your Autoresponder properly
The major key in building a opt-in list full of targeted customers is to setup an effective autoresponder system. Giving away something for FREE is a great way to attract customers to your email list, just as long as what you give away is informative and of use to your target audience. Most people on the internet are searching for information so it is in your favor to give away an information product such as a newsletter, free report or mini course. Give away something of value and you start to build trust.
Your autoresponder email campaign works best if you send out one or more emails a week for at least a year. This is not spamming as the email recipient requested the information. Good autoresponders have an unsubscribe link in each email that allows the customer to leave the email system if they like. You Can't be lazy!
The exciting idea about joining affiliate programs is that they give you EVERYTHING you need to make money right away. Is that REALLY true? Well, you get your own own custom affiliate website, pre-written ads and banners, a list of online advertising hot spots, etc. They say all you need to do is plug those babies in and profit... Does it really happen that way? NOT USUALLY!
The problem with joining affiliate programs is that people get lazy. They slave away 40+ hours a week at their job and then think they can take the standard affiliate website they are given, plug it into a couple of free advertising tools that take 5 minutes to setup and start making money rightaway. People are willing to work their butts off at work every day, but they want to not have to do ANYTHING with their affiliate programs and make a bunch of money... It's true.

I use PPC

Don,t quit yet
I'm going ehrough one of those times when i wonder if the work is worth it. I know it is but i have no "true" support group around me so the going is kind of tough. My upline said that this is where the quitters quit and the successful keep driving forward to the day that they can laugh about it all. All the people who are successful at a home internet business have stories to tell about the 100 times they almost hung it up. Besides, if i give up, what else will i do?

I really enjoy the work i do to build my affiliate marketing business. It seems that article publishing and forum posting seems to bring in quite a bit of traffic so i have dedicated this year to vastly increasing how much i do these things everyday. The forums bring instant FREE traffic and the articles seem to help in the search engines. My oldest site: Life of Egypt.com seems to do pretty well for many search phrases that include the words "affiliate marketing". I believe that as soon as i can get 100 articles published and register my domain for a few more years than maybe i can be a real threat to the number one spot.

There are a billion people per day claiming that they want a larger piece of the pie. Some get it, some don't. The odds say that asking a billion people (repeatedly) to buy into your opportunity will always produce more sales than merely asking ten people. That's where you come in. Even though you already possess the resources to ask a billion people (starting with the internet) for whatever you want, you have, for some reason, refused to ask more than a few people, and even then you ask them only once or twice. Persistence does pay off in the world of sales.
Let me ask you this question; If a fellow you knew had a long-time day job driving a local delivery truck, suddenly says, "I'm moving to Hollywood, I've got to go for it," you know that most people, including you, would think that this guy was a nut. So when we see a Michael Clarke Duncan, born without a dollar, reaping millions of dollars after winning an academy award for his first-ever acting part ( The Green Mile ), please don't think it was a fluke. This man did not get to the top of his profession by luck. Hard work, a plan and a burning desire fueled his dreams. A man with a goal is powerful force.
USE YOUR DESIRE intentionally... the more you focus on your desire -- the more your brain produces methods to get there. It is vital for you to understand that this is brain science. You are the creator of your own future. Making good decisions and being persistent is the key to being the successful person you choose to be.
Stop allowing other people to guide you in your daily activities! Take control!! This is your life, friend, and if you don't work at making your own dreams come true, then we, the world, can see that you'll spend your remaining good years working for someone who has willfully taken control of their destination.
That doesn't mean quitting your job this instant; it means MAKING two, three, even four hours per week to pursue YOUR passion and interests. As with every great power, whether or not you get to taste the sweet fruits of magnificent accomplishment is determined far less by outside events than by the choices that you have in front of you at this moment and mostly every moment of your life.
You're constantly saying that you don't have time to pursue excellence as a part-time sideline, not even one percent of your time. If you committed yourself to your dream for just one percent of your time would be life changing. You'll spend thousands of minutes folding clothes and doing other mundane things in your life. Much of it will be time well wasted. That explains why you don't have much in the bank.
You've said many times that you just don't have time. Tell me, if, God Forbid, you needed dialysis three times a week or you'd be dead, would you MAKE time to go the hospital three times per week? Make time for your dreams as if your life depended on it and watch your life change for the better!
